Q: What is the official address of the event?

A. MDC is making its way to the Viking Lakes campus to take place on the plaza of TCO Stadium (2600 Vikings Circle Eagan, MN 55121).

Q: How much is admission?

A: Admission for spectators is free! This is an all ages event, so bring the whole family!

Q: Where do I park?

A: Parking for athletes and spectators will be free in the ramp of the Innovation Center, located on the Viking Lakes campus next to the TCO Stadium plaza. For your GPS - 2685 Vikings Circle, Eagan, MN, 55121.

Q: Where do the proceeds from the event go?

A: 100% of proceeds from Memorial Day Challenge 2024 will go towards benefitting United Heroes League. Check out more on the organization HERE.

Q: What happens if it rains?

A: MDC goes on rain or shine! In the event of severe weather that makes it unsafe for athletes to compete, the event will be delayed/postponed as needed. Athletes - Please be prepared to take necessary precautions in wet weather to avoid injury. Scaling options will be provided to ensure safe alternatives for those that want/need them.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Sorry. Pets are prohibited except in the case of service animals.

Q: Can I ride a bike around the grounds?

A: While bikes won’t be allowed onto the plaza, you are certainly welcome to ride your bike out to the venue! There is limited bike rack space available.

Q: What is the bag policy?

A: Athletes will be allowed to bring a reasonably sized gym bag that we ask remains stored in the athlete warm-up area. Spectators will be allowed to carry a small backpack or purse.

Q: Are guns allowed?

A: Sorry. Guns are prohibited.

Q: Are there accommodations for handicapped people?

A: Yes. The entire venue and all spectator/athlete spaces are handicapped accessible.

FOOD and BEVERAGE QUESTIONS

Q: Can I bring my own food and drink as a spectator?

A: Outside food and beverage is not allowed for spectators but TCO Stadium’s concession stand will be open. Athletes competing will have the option to bring a small cooler with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages only. These coolers must remain in the athlete warm-up area and all food and beverage must be consumed in the athlete area.

Q: Is alcohol served at MDC24?

A: Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the concession stand.

Q: What type of payment is accepted for Food and Beverage?

A: The TCO Stadium concession stand will accept cash and card payments.

PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other distracting noisemakers

  • Alcoholic beverages, cans, glass or outside food unless medically required

  • Animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities)

  • Any devices that may interfere with and/or distract any sports or event participant, other guests, audio, audio/visual telecast or recording of the event, or any technology-related service provided in the stadium

  • Balloons, confetti, glitter and fireworks

  • Briefcase, computer bags or luggage of any kind ***Competing Athletes will have the ability to bring in a reasonably sized gym bag.

  • Chain accessories

  • Firearms, knives or weapons of any kind

  • Hard-sided containers or coolers. ***Competing Athletes will have the ability to bring in a reasonably sized cooler to be kept in the athlete warm-up area. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be brought into the event space under any circumstances.

  • Helmets that are not replicas

  • Illegal drugs substances, drug paraphernalia or aerosols of any kind

  • (i.e. mace, pepper spray, sunscreen, etc)

  • Laptop computers, video cameras, televisions, mono/tripods, camera lenses over 6 inches or any devices that may interfere with and/or distract any sports or event participation

  • Laser pens/pointers

  • Obscene or indecent clothing

  • Outside food and beverage*

  • Pole mounted signs, banners, or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks

  • Projectiles (i.e. frisbees, beach balls, footballs, etc)

  • Seat backs with large pockets and/or metal rod connections

  • Umbrellas**

  • Athletes and participating gyms are welcome to bring 10’x10’ pop-up tents to be used in the Upper Plaza area only.

    *Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or special needs

    **Small umbrellas that can be folded and placed under the seat will be permitted.

Our goal at the TCO Stadium venue is to create a high-energy environment and lend support to our teams/events while maintaining a safe, family-oriented atmosphere. Fans should have a pleasant experience, and each guest should act responsibly while being considerate of others. Unruly behavior will not be tolerated and, in some cases, may be deemed grounds for dismissal from the property. These cases include, but are not limited to:

  • Any disruption to the progress of the event by fans actions

  • Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • Underage drinking

  • Actions that are harmful to or endanger others

  • Throwing items of any kind

  • Using foul or abusive language and/or gestures

  • Displaying inconsiderate behavior towards others

  • Disorderly conduct

  • Wearing obscene or indecent clothing

  • Smoking in non-designated areas

  • Sitting in a location other than designated spectator viewing areas

  • Sitting or standing in the aisle ways

  • Entering or attempting to enter the field of play or controlled spaces

  • Failure to follow instructions of venue security personnel

  • Entering the venue with any prohibited items

  • Any behavior which otherwise interferes with other spectators’ enjoyment of the competition
